The renowned brand
Cete Automotive
Top-of-the-range electronic modules
History of the German brand Cete
It all began in 2012, near Hamburg, with a simple idea: to give owners of premium vehicles control over what manufacturers have deliberately restricted. The first product, dubbed 'Alex-Moduls' at the time, was an electronic gateway capable of modifying the sound behaviour of a vehicle without touching its mechanics. A year later, in 2013, Cete Automotive GmbH was officially founded. The brand registered its technology, structured its range and launched its online shop under the name Active Sound System.
Since then, each new generation of V2, V3 and then WiFi modules has expanded the possibilities: multiple sound profiles, smartphone control, integration with the vehicle's original buttons, exhaust valve control and air suspension management.
Shiftech resells Cete Automotive products and installs them in its centres in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Morocco.

Three modules, one philosophy
What sets Cete Automotive apart in a market saturated with preparation solutions is a constraint that the brand has imposed on itself from day one: each module must operate in plug & play mode, integrate with the original electronics without modifying them, and allow a return to factory condition at any time. No soldering, no reprogramming of the ECU, no modifications that would compromise the manufacturer's warranty or complicate resale.
This rigour has convinced thousands of BMW M, Audi RS, Mercedes AMG and Porsche owners across Europe - demanding drivers who want to transform their driving experience without taking any risks with the reliability of their vehicle.

The Cete Automotive product range
Active Sound System
Cete Automotive's Active Sound System is the answer to the problem of vehicle sound: an external sound generator, synchronised in real time with engine speed, which projects a V6, V8, V10 or V12 acoustic signature outside the vehicle. r
The system consists of a dedicated loudspeaker and an electronic box - no welding, no modification of the exhaust. The sound is fully customisable via the smartphone app, with adjustable profiles for acceleration, deceleration and idling. Pop & Bang mode is included.
Active Valve Control
On most modern sports cars, the original exhaust valves open and close according to a cautious manufacturer's logic: closed in Comfort mode, half-open in Sport mode, rarely fully open except in Sport+ mode or on track. Cete Automotive's Active Valve Control module bypasses this logic to give you direct control, via the controls already present in your passenger compartment.
Compatible only with petrol vehicles fitted with original valves.
Active Suspension Control
Cete Automotive's Active Suspension Control module extends the suspension lowering adjustment ranges and gives you direct control via the original controls or the dedicated application.
The result: more pronounced lowering for road use or photography, easier raising for speed bumps or underground access, all without touching the suspension mechanics. Plug & play installation, without coding, compatible with Audi, BMW, Bentley, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen platforms with original air suspension.
