Brûleurs de Gomme 2026: Shiftech was there for the 10th edition, and it was on fire

Once again this year we were at the Brûleurs de Gomme for the 10th edition, and believe us, it was a real blast. With trackday, track baptisms, ultra-rare hypercars, a crazy atmosphere with our DJ on the stand and the Milwaukee DJ... we won't soon forget this incredible edition. Here's the full recap.

The star of our stand: the 992 GT3 RS biturbo 9FF with 720 bhp

We made the trip with one of our most extreme cars of the moment: a twin-turbo Porsche 992 GT3 RS from 9FF, developing 720 bhp. Enough to put a Porsche 991 GT2 RS to the test on the Spa circuit. A machine built for excess, developed on a power bench, and which left no one on the stand indifferent.

New range of merchandise available in our shop

Make the most of it: a brand new range of Shiftech products is available on our website. Caps, sweatshirts, t-shirts... everything is online, all you have to do is click.

And check out our limited edition boards, made in collaboration with Brothers Custom.

And for drift fans: check out this season's T-shirt, designed to support Sofiane Yazid and Médo, in collaboration with BTHX and Brothers Custom.

Bertrand aka BTHX: three unique pieces, three stories

We were lucky enough to work with Bertrand, alias BTHX, an artist whose work blends car culture and visual creation. For this special 10th anniversary edition, he created three unique pieces:

A canvas offered to Nico, the organiser of the BDG, to mark the 10th anniversary of the event; one that joins the Shiftech collection and will find its place in the workshop; and a third entered in our Instagram competition, autographed by Médo and BTHX themselves.

All his creations can be seen on his website: bthxart.com

The RWB stand: they've pulled out all the stops this year

RWB, the Japanese tuner specialising in Porsche 911s and known for its extra-large body kits, was present at the Brûleurs de Gommes 2026, and not just to make up the numbers.

In other years, a few RWB models showed off their enlarged bodywork. This year, the international tuner brought out the heavy artillery: all the emblematic models were present. A stand that, in itself, made the trip worthwhile.

A dozen hypercars: proof that BDG is moving upmarket

Every year, the line-up moves up a notch. This year's event was no exception, with just under a dozen hypercars from all over Europe on show, including a Praga Bohemia, a Koenigsegg Jesko and a unique Bugatti Bolide worth 6 million euros. These are machines that don't land just anywhere - and their presence here speaks volumes about the reputation the event has built up.

Our stand: big, loud and with a DJ at the controls

On the Shiftech side, the stand was running at full speed in partnership with Milwaukee. Paul Barnier 's TRX took pride of place in the centre, transformed into a mobile stage with a DJ on board to set the place alight for part of the day. The programme also included the distribution of gifts and goodies, with Etienne Moustache in particular on hand to hand out T-shirts.

The line-up of cars on show spoke for itself: Porsche 992 GT3 RS, Lamborghini STO with its Spider-Man decor, Dodge Viper, Aston Martin, Lamborghini Aventador, Audi RS6 Stage 3 with 1100 bhp, Porsche GT4 RS, BMW 240i Stage 3 and BMW G80 Stage 3. Enough to keep you busy for a few hours.

Interview with Nico, creator of the BDG

We took the time to chat with Nico, the man behind the Brûleurs de Gomme for 10 years now. Médo paid him a fitting tribute by presenting him with a painting created by Bertrand for the occasion. Nico was visibly touched, and the painting should find its place in his warehouse.

Heading for the drift spot: Med and Brothers Custom hit the streets

After a few mechanical problems early in the morning, Med and the Brothers Custom team managed to get the smoke machine back on its feet. And they were right to do so: it was the first year with so many people in the drift zone. The atmosphere was guaranteed, and the tyres were hard at work.

Debriefing with Sofiane: baptisms in the 992 GT3 RS

We caught up with Sofiane Yazid to review his day behind the wheel of the 992 GT3 RS at Spa. The verdict: 3 full tanks, but above all a lot of fun. The passengers left with smiles from ear to ear, and the machine kept up the pace all day without flinching.

Conclusion: see you in 2027 for the 11th edition

It was incredible. It was a complete event, with ever-increasing quality and a line-up of cars that just keeps getting better and better every year. We can't wait to see what the 11th edition has in store for us.

A big thank you to the organisers and the public for bringing the Brûleurs de Gomme to life with such passion. until next year!
