New vehicles available for reprogramming - May 2026
Article updated regularly
Last updated on 7 May 2026
Because engine reprogramming is constantly evolving, the Shiftech teams are constantly enhancing their compatibility as soon as it becomes available and reliable.
This article is updated at the end of each month. It listsall the ECUs, new engines and vehicles available for reprogramming, whether for new openings or for unlocking after a manufacturer's lockout period.
A whole host of new features have been added this month, with the addition of several updates enabling vehicles that have been blocked by vehicle manufacturers to be reprogrammed.
For some of these vehicles, the ECU may need to be "unlocked" before any work can be carried out. This procedure involves immobilising the vehicle for several days. Find out more about unlocking the ECU

How does unlocking work?
Most of these new compatibilities are based on a preliminary step called unlocking.
In practical terms:
- The ECU is removed from the vehicle
- It is sent for unlocking (secure intervention)
- It is reinstalled in the vehicle
- Reprogramming is then carried out on the Bench or OBD
This procedure guarantees :
- Compatibility with manufacturer protection
- Reprogramming stability
- ECU safety
