Tours Auto & Mobile 2026 Motor Show: our stand – a blend of supercars and superethanol
From 23 to 26 October, the Tours Auto Moto & Mobile 2026 motor show transformed the Parc Expo in Tours into a huge open-air showroom. This was an edition unlike any other: for the first time, the Tours motor show welcomed motorbikes. Shiftech was there, with a stand featuring supercars, exceptional motorbikes and superethanol. We’ll tell you all about the show, then take you on a tour of our stand.

The Tours Motor Show is moving up a gear
A new format featuring two-wheelers
Organised by Tours Événements, the Salon Auto & Mobile changed its name in 2026 to become the Salon Tours Auto Moto & Mobile, with the inclusion of two-wheelers. The official website announces over 40,000 m² of exhibition space and more than 800 new and used models, spread across three areas: the main hall for new cars, Hall A for used vehicles and, new for this year, Hall B entirely dedicated to motorbikes. Outside, the motorhome and caravan show rounded off the event.
In Hall B, motorcyclists were spoilt for choice: Can-Am, Kawasaki, KTM, BMW Motorrad, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Triumph and Yamaha were all in attendance.
30 car brands and newcomers
On the car front, the organiser announced 30 new car brands and around 30 new models, with a test drive area to put theory into practice. Among the newcomers were Zeekr, Omoda & Jaecoo and Chery. The show took place just a few days after the Paris Motor Show, and against a backdrop of soaring fuel prices that had put alternative powertrains at the centre of the conversation.
Prestige, simulators and evening opening
Car enthusiasts were in for a treat: at the Automobile Club de l’Ouest stand, a Matra Formula 1 car and a Porsche 935 from the M24 Museum in Le Mans were displayed alongside a Porsche 550 and a Bugatti Type 37. The programme of events also included dynamic Formula 1 simulators, a MotoGP simulator and an area of over 300 m² dedicated to motorbike safety, coordinated by the Indre-et-Loire Prefecture. And on Friday evening, there was free entry from 6 pm to 9 pm with a DJ set.
The organiser was expecting 15,000 visitors over the four days, a figure comparable to the previous edition. Amidst all this, Shiftech was among the exhibitors. Let’s head over to our stand.
At the Shiftech stand
The Huracán Tecnica, the star of the stand
You couldn’t miss it. Right in the centre sat our matt black Huracán Tecnica, with a Shiftech number plate at the front and graffiti messages on the bodywork: ‘The secret to wealth… is running on ethanol’ on the doors, ‘My banker prefers E85’ on the bonnet. As a reminder, the Tecnica features a naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 640 ch, with 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 s and a top speed of 325 km/h. No wonder some visitors couldn’t resist pressing their noses against the windows.
A Panigale for purists
Standing guard at the entrance to the stand was our Panigale V4 SP2 916. For those unfamiliar with it, this special edition is Ducati’s tribute to the 30th anniversary of the 916: produced in a limited run of 500 numbered units, it features the tricolour livery and the number 1 of the bike that was crowned World Superbike Champion with Carl Fogarty in 1999. This little gem serves as a reminder that at Shiftech, two-wheelers also have their rightful place.

E85 takes centre stage at the stand
At a motor show where fuel prices were the talk of the town, our stand had a clear message: drive more cheaply with E85. A white Skoda Kamiq – the ultimate everyday car – had the words ‘I run on ethanol for €40 a full tank’ displayed on its doors. Surrounding it, our signs summarised the offer: up to 50 per cent off at the pump, from €49 a month, and a conversion compatible with most petrol engines. Another display posed the controversial question: for €10’s worth of fuel, would you choose E85 or SP95?
