New reprogramming of three Porsche ECUs

The entire Porsche sports range can be reprogrammed at your Shiftech centres

 

This is a major event in the world of Porsche engine reprogramming. Thanks to the latest AutoTuner protocol, Shiftech is now able to work on three previously locked Porsche ECUs: the Bosch MG1CP007, the Bosch MG1CS047 and the Bosch MG1CP994.

In a single update, this triple technical breakthrough opens up access to the entire top end of the German marque: the 3.0T and 3.7T turbos, the legendary naturally-aspirated 4.0L blocks of the GT3 / GT3 RS and GT4 / GT4 RS, as well as the brand-new 3.6 T-Hybrid engine of the latest 911s (type 992.2).

Whether you drive a Carrera, GTS or Turbo S, your 992.2 can now express a potential that Porsche had deliberately limited. With gains of up to 110 bhp with stage 2 on turbo versions and maps developed on the power bench in our centres, each service is carried out in full compliance with the original mechanical tolerances.

The 992.1 GT3 RS is now one of the vehicles available for reprogramming at Shiftech, after passing through the unlock stage. And while the gains in pure power remain modest for a naturally-aspirated engine as sophisticated as the 525bhp 4.0L, that's where the comparison with conventional reprogramming ends.

The reprogramming of this naturally-aspirated block has a profound effect on engine management, resulting in a more refined throttle response, more immediate engine wake-up, and a louder, more responsive feel right out of the pit. The naturally-aspirated 4.0L doesn't need more horsepower to make you feel more, it needs to have the shackles removed.
