Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica: We protect our car and give it a new voice!

For this project, we’ve opted for a stylish, minimalist design:

• Exterior: A gloss black paint finish combined with all-black elements, from the Lamborghini logo to the exhaust tailpipes, including the brakes and one-piece wheel nuts. Everything has been optimised for an ultra-dark and sophisticated ‘Batman’ look.
• Interior: Electric comfort seats replacing the bucket seats we had in the STO, red topstitching and the deliberate absence of carbon fibre to create a clean, functional and pleasant environment.

Two details that please Médéric: a cup holder for coffee and cruise control. This configuration clearly demonstrates the desire for a vehicle focused on comfort and distinct from our old STO.

Under the rear bonnet of this Huracán Tecnica lies the legendary 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine. This engine delivers an impressive 640 chevaux, the same as the STO, but with optimised torque curve management to offer greater dynamism at mid-range revs. Unlike the all-wheel-drive models, this Tecnica features rear-wheel drive, designed for enthusiasts of pure, engaging driving. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, it guarantees breathtaking acceleration and unrivalled driving thrills.

To ensure optimum protection and enhance the Tecnica’s appearance, we have applied a matt paint protection film (matt PPF). This choice transforms the gloss paintwork into a matt finish whilst preserving the paintwork and the condition of the bodywork.

A major advantage of PPF, in addition to protecting the bodywork from scratches, external damage and vandalism, is that it is reversible. This means you can maintain a high resale value whilst retaining the option to restore the gloss finish should you or a future buyer so wish.

For our project, we decided to keep a few elements glossy, such as the Tecnica logo on the front bumper and on the diffuser.

To unlock the full sound potential of the V10, we have fitted a Shiftech valve control module. As standard, the valves on the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica only open at 4,000 or even 5,000 revolutions per minute, which significantly limits the engine’s sound at low revs. This module resolves that issue whilst preserving the manufacturer’s warranty. Another key feature of our product is that it does not ‘override’ the original valve control system. If you wish to drive in the factory-set configuration, you don’t need to do anything; if you wish to control the valves yourself, simply select one of the three modes.

This system allows you to customise the exhaust valve control with three modes:

• Open: A powerful, distinctive sound at all revs.
• Automatic: Adaptive control depending on the selected driving mode.
• Closed: Ideal for discreet urban driving or cold starts without disturbing the neighbourhood.

Now that the modifications are complete, it’s time to test the car on the road to check that the valve system is working properly. The verdict:

The valve module literally transforms the sound experience, offering total immersion thanks to the roar of the V10. The system’s ease of use in no way detracts from the driving pleasure; on the contrary, it makes journeys more dynamic to the ear.

Protected by its matt PPF, the bodywork is ready to face all conditions whilst still giving the car a fresh new look. It also offers peace of mind, as there is now no risk of paint chips.

The tinted windows complete this customisation, enhancing the style whilst providing added comfort.
